The first installment of the Rocky Mountain cup has come to a close with the Rapids getting the win, the three points, and claiming top spot in the west. The game was even for the most part with Colorado having the better of the play you knew it just had to come together for them. Colorado opened the scoring in the 65th minute on a cross from Colin Clark that found the foot of Omar Cummings who snuck it past the keeper. Than in the 83rd minute they got an insurance goal when Christian Gomez converted from the spot. For a full review of the game click here.
