We all know the Columbus Crew has had one of the best starts in club history, and that is due in a large part to the fact that Sigi Schmid has been able to put out a consistent lineup. Adam Moffat has started every game this season for the Crew and will be out for the next 2-4 weeks with a tear in his right lateral meniscus in his right knee. Who steps in for the Crew? That decision comes down to Sigi Schmid and the two players up to fill the void are newly signed Nigerian Ekpo and Stefani Miglioranzi. Most fans have pointed to Expo getting the start because of a strong showing in his debut last weekend, but it seems as if Sigi Schmid has other plans. According to Shawn Mitchell Sigi had this to say when asked about Ekpo, "Is he ready to go 90 minutes? I don't know. I thought Stefani was our best player in our reserve game on Sunday, so that was important for him." If this is any indication of who will get the start this weekend I would have to say Stefani Miglioranzi.
