Columubus - 0 Toronto - 0
The second installment of the Trillium Cup was not as exciting as the first. Toronto had the better part of the play, dominating in shots and hitting the post. Both clubs continue there unbeaten runs, and neither will be too disappointed from the result. For a Full Review click here.
Kansas City - 1 New York - 1
This one was a surprise to me, I really thought New York had the confidence to put this one away early. The Red Bulls dominated the game, but some impressive play by Kevin Hartman left them only with one goal. Borman scored his second goal in just as many games, and one of my favorites Dave Van Den Bergh got sent off to take an early bath. For a Full Review click here.
New England - 2 San Jose - 0
San Jose was surprisingly unimpressive in this one racking up just four shots and producing not much offense. Ex-Revolution player James Riley was able to contribute and help his old team getting them an own goal. With the win the Revolution climbed up the standings moving into second place in the east tied with Chicago. For a Full Review click here.
Houston - 2 Chicago - 1
The Fire was put out in Chicago on Saturday night, literally and figuratively. The Dynamo might be on to something this season if they can keep this little win streak up. A late goal by Bobby Boswell sealed the victory for the visitors, and ended Chicago's unbeaten run. For a Full Review click here.
DC United - 1 Chivas USA - 3
DC started out strong and got an early goal, but Chivas came out strong in the second half and got the win at home. A little bit of a shock in this one seeing Chivas USA's tactics, a 3-5-2 with Jesse Marsch in the middle of the back and Palidini in midfield. Preki will try anything to get the W, but luckily he reverted to a normal 4-4-2 in the 2nd half which led them to the victory. For a Full Review click here.
LA Galaxy - 5 FC Dallas - 1
No that is not a typo, the Galaxy actually scored five goals. None of them goal of the week candidates, but a solid performance none the less. Edson Buddle got the hat trick, and Beckham helped a little adding an assist. The story in this one was Adrian Serioux's tackle on David Beckham which received a red card. I will have more on that later in the week. For a Full Review click here.
