- The much anticipated move of Jozy Altidore to Europe has come. According to Ives he will be sold for $10 million dollars to spanish club Villarreal. The Deal can't become official till July 1st, when the european transfer window opens up, but this has to be a dream move for Jozy. What do you think of the deal? Will he flourish or will he simply become a forgotten US international in a foreign country.
- Also in news today the deal to bring Brian McBride to Chicago is inching ever closer. The only road block in the way of that is Toronto FC, and it looks like they are getting ready for an incoming player from Chicago. Toronto FC traded first round draft pick Pat Phelan to the New England Revolution for an international roster spot through 2010. Something tells me TFC is getting ready for a player.
