Middlesbrough Offers $6 Million for Bradley

With all the transfer talk of Jozy to Villareal we completely forgot about a young man by the name of Michael Bradley. As of late Heerenveen had asked $5.8 million from Everton for the former Metrostars man. It seems now that another team has jumped in the race for the services of Bradley with Boro offering $6 million for him. The offer has not yet been accepted, but if there asking price is any inclination than this offer will probably be accepted. Bradley has drawn interest from several clubs this off-season including Blackburn Rovers, West Ham United, Bolton Wanderers, Sunderland and HSV. View Original Article Here.

American players need to start looking beyond the EPL. I can understand why they'd find it enticing -- the shared language and culture, to make no mention of the exchange rate -- but the MNT would be well served by having some of its main players gathering experience on the Continent.

And some European experience wouldn't hurt either -- be it the UEFA Cup or the Champions League. I'd argue for Bradley joining Hamburg.
