Rogers Misses National Team Call-Up

Robbie Rogers was called into the national team player pool by Bob Bradley, but still was still waiting for the chance to make it to a camp to try and impress. He would have had that opportunity had it not been for a hurt knee suffered in the Chivas USA game this weekend. Sources tell the Bath that an injury(possibly Donovan) left Bob calling for the services of Rogers, but after the game Saturday night Rogers had to decline an invitation to Spain because of an unknown knee injury. A smart move by Rogers because who knows what kind of status he would have been in when he got to Spain. I mean he has a swollen knee and would of had to wake up Sunday morning fly across the world, have his knee swell up some more. Finally get to Spain, and than not be 100% in camp and not play his best. This shot may be his only to impress Bradley so he wants to make it count, and doesn't want to be discounted from future camps because of one poor performance. Rogers is said to be feeling better, and hopefully will be in action this weekend for the Crew.
