Tuesday Morning Bath: Eddie Robinson
Following the early bath given to Eddie Robinson in a mid week game with Dallas, it got me thinking how many games will Robinson miss this season due to disciplinary actions? He has already missed many games this year due to red cards, but if he continues at this rate how long will he be in the Houston lineup. He got his second yellow against Dallas for purely flipping out and overreacting. So he got a little push in the back when he was shielding the ball, so what? That doesn't mean you have to turn around and shove Saragosa to the ground. It was a complete example of roid rage, Im not saying he is taking steroids, but that is behavior someone on it displays. After the game the league handed down another game suspension and a fine for Robinson, but that is not enough for me. This is his second incident already this year that has earned further action to be taken by the league, and frankly the second one needs to be harsher than the first. Eddie needs to cool it, relax and just play soccer, but how long will the MLS let Robinson set record highs for disciplinary points? How many games do you think Robinson will miss this year? Do you think the punishment fits the crime? I would love to hear your thoughts.
